The Euthanasia Investigation Bureau (EIB), a government-authorized organization, was established to keep an eye on the use of euthanasia that seem questionable and potentially constituting murder. The bureau was equipped with advanced technology and had access to medical records and surveillance footage to investigate cases. Agent Yara’s typical day at the bureau was disrupted as she received a notification on her holographic screen.
